If you’re not familiar with the retail brand Aritzia, it is a Vancouver based company that has expanded across North America since launching in 1984. Montreal, being one of the top shopping destinations for the fashion forward female, constitutes the perfect city to open up shop for this independent retailer. As of August 28, Aritzia will have opened three boutiques around the Montreal area: the Montreal Eaton Centre, Carrefour Laval and Fairview Pointe Claire. All three stores will display new and different concepts in décor that add to a pleasurable shopping experience. In-store experience and ambiance are taken very seriously at Aritzia, as they offer a “hands free” shopping service, which allows you to leave your bags locked up in one of the safety boxes around the store, that only you have the key for. In addition, the store plays a diverse set of custom playlists, produced and re-mixed by hired enigmatic artists and dj’s, a personal touch from Aritzia to complement store ambience. What makes Aritzia different from other stores in Montreal? They carry designs exclusive to their own brand —Wilfred, Wilfred Free, Le Fou by Wilfred, TNA, TNAction, Babaton, and Talula. Aside from in-house brands, Aritzia also carries J Brand, Citizens of Humanity and 7 For All Mankind. Aritzia is the new go-to spot for investment pieces, their clothing is a little pricey but you’ll always get quality and trendy designs. Aritzia displays a high level of customer service from the moment you walk in, until you leave. Offering a personal shopping experience, you’ll have the chance to sustain a continuous retail-relationship with one of the Aritzia girls every time you visit the store. This proves as very helpful for those who don’t consider themselves a fashionistas, as the staff displays extensive product knowledge. Even though Aritzia is a women’s fashion boutique you don’t have to hesitate about bringing your boyfriend along with you, they have a lounge area where they can sit and relax.
