Among the top late night eat contenders of the east end is Café Milano: the Italian reflection of classic bar food. In the heart of Saint-Leonard, found on the corner of Jarry Street and Boulevard Lacordaire, the well renowned Café Milano offers customers a variety of Italian foods, sweets, espressos, and alcoholic beverages. Open 24/7, this cozy little café offers locals and distant visiting customers a variety of homemade submarines and salads made with freshly baked bread imported from a local bakery (exclusively baked for Milano’s!). We highly recommend customers indulge in their steak, capicollo, and sausage sub. Every sub is dressed with Italian garnish, including spicy eggplant, melted mozzarella cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Another highly suggested menu pick is their salad topped with balsamic. Their classic chicken salad is by far a customer favorite!
Milano’s also offers a selection of pastries. We suggest their cannolis— definitely a “must try”, as well as their xangos (make sure to have them heated to a crisp!).
