When you walk into Cho’Cola, the first thing you will notice is its owner, Gloria, behind the counter, wearing her bright purple glasses and her friendly and welcoming smile. Gloria took baking classes in Israel to broaden her technique and increase her knowledge-base about the world of baked goods. Formerly a stay-at-home mom, Gloria decided to turn her dreams into reality by opening her first bakeshop 7 years ago at the age of 50. Gloria’s lesson to all: it’s never too late to chase after your dreams.

The story behind Cho’Cola goes much deeper than just a stay-at-home mom starting her own bakery. Gloria’s son had an allergy to peanuts while growing up. This is why Cho’Cola is 100% nut and peanut free. Gloria is well aware of allergens and takes them very seriously, which is why she offers gluten-free goodies as well.

More than just a cupcake shop, Cho’Cola carries various delicious eats, such as freshly pressed paninis, chocolates, and ice cream. They even serve breakfast and lunch for all you famished foodies. The cupcakes, french macaroons, custom-made cakes, cookies, push-pop cakes, and their famous rainbow cake are all made at the bakery.

Gloria constantly keeps up with the latest trends, making her shop a fun place to drop by, even if it’s just to admire the colourful and vibrant decor. Everyday consists of new cupcake flavours, such as cookies & cream, carrot, banana cream cheese, limoncello, caramel, lavender, coffee Rolo, Mars bar, red velvet, and many more.

Aside from creating freshly baked goods, Cho’Cola also has a semi-private room for customers to rent whenever they are hosting parties or baby/bridal showers.

Cho’Cola is a great bakeshop that welcomes you to stay in or take-out. With two locations, you have no choice but to indulge in your sweet tooth. You’ll always find new and exciting flavours to look forward to.
