Deville Dinerbar is a gourmet American diner with specialty dishes that’ll wow your taste buds to the moon and back. The premise is to bring back the nostalgia of the classic diner and merge it with 21st century chic. This means that the classic diner dishes we’ve come to love have been revamped and jazzed up.

Walk into a shnazzy décor, complete with high ceilings, leather banquettes, and a lunch-counter inspired bar that spans the lower level of the restaurant. The second level includes the much coveted terrace overlooking a courtyard with an adjustable awning so you can enjoy the outdoors rain or shine.

The menu is extensive, but some of the best dishes can be found on the first page. Their appetizers are what really make Deville stand out. Their Crispy Mac & Cheese Stuffed Wontons at $12 (yes, you read that correctly) will make you wonder how you’ve ever lived without tasting these cheesy treasures. The Philly Cheesesteak Spring Rolls, with BBQ beef short-rib, will melt in your mouth. Who comes up with this stuff? Don’t forget the Deep Fried Pickles ($9) with maple Dijon and picante ketchup for the holy trinity of Deville entrées.

If you manage to venture off the first page, the Ahi Tuna Salad and the Fish ‘n Chip on a Bun will make it worth your while. Next up are some serious burgers. All of Deville’s burgers contain two 4 oz patties made with aged U.S.D.A. CHOI Colorado corn-fed beef brisket, chuck, and short-rib. That’s a mouthful! If you’re brave (or a glutton, the best of us are), try The BIG GUY Burger, with four 4 oz patties topped with black forest bacon and fried onion strings. The piece de resistance? This burger doesn’t have regular hamburger buns; instead, the patties are sandwiched between two brioche bread grilled cheeses. You may want to fast a day or two before attempting to consume this burger.

Deville also do their liquor license proud with an extensive cocktail list. Some favourites include the Spiked Lee Brooklyn Iced Tea and the daiquiri fishbowl topped with a Bacardi Breezer. They have drink specials every night of the week, so order accordingly.
