Marc Cain is a German-based fashion house that has, since 1973, built a reputation for achieving the ideal balance of innovative design, fine quality materials, and impeccable production techniques.
Recently, we were invited to Marc Cain‘s Montreal showroom to discover the Fall/Winter 2016 collection and the encounter was fabulous, let us tell you!
Marc Cain takes chances this upcoming season by pairing bold patterns and colours, rarely seen together, yet making them work flawlessly! The collection took us from luxe sportswear (way too pretty to sweat in), to classy conservative looks, and chic cocktail attire. The collection is versatile and trendy, to say the least.
A notable component of Marc Cain‘s Fall/Winter 2016 collection is the faux fur integration. While artificial fur can look inexpensive, sometimes poor in quality, and less desirable, Marc Cain is introducing faux fur pieces that are just about the opposite. By using new and cutting-edge technology, Marc Cain has revolutionized the then undesirable faux fur into the now coveted fun fur!
As seen in the showroom and on the runway, Marc Cain is playing up Fall/Winter 2016 wardrobes with statement faux fur coats, jackets, and accessories, including scarves, stoles, hats, and handbags. Even more exciting is the variety of colours the faux fur comes in; think blush pink, bright yellow, and fun animal prints among more neutral colours.
Bonus Marc Cain styling tip: pair a faux fur jacket with jeans or a chic cocktail dress and heels, and voila! You’ve got yourself a fabulous multipurpose jacket.
