Shakespeare-in-the-Park

The Repercussion Theater hosts a summer tradition in various Montreal parks throughout the entire month of July. Shakespeare-in-the-Park is an annual theatrical performance free of charge. With different Shakespeare plays performed every year, this year’s theatrical performance is titled Twelfth Night: Or What You Will. Directed by Amanda Kellock, this performance is considered to be one of Shakespeare’s perfect comedies. Twelfth Night is a story about twins in the search for their other half. It is a play that deals with love and loss and it is a great comedic theatrical performance that can be enjoyed for free by all of you! The Pianist

Part of the Montréal Complètement Cirque festival (taking place July 2 to July 12, 2015), the Pianist by Circo Aereo is a 60 minute comedy show for the whole family! The Pianist is a one-man show about a man and his piano. Thomas Monckton plays a hilarious silent character pounding away on his piano. The show is about Monckton trying to escape a disaster in the most absurd ways, mixing both comedy and clownish behavior throughout his performance.

The show is on every night at 7:00pm from July 3 to July 9, 2015. Visit the Montréal Complètement Cirque’s website to purchase your tickets. 

Just for Laughs Comedy Festival

The Montreal Just for Laughs Festival is an annual comedic event. Every summer people wait to hear who will be performing! With some of the biggest names in comedy and some fresh new faces, you are guaranteed a night of non-stop laughing. The Just for Laughs Festival is filled with galas, street art, theater productions, and stand-up performances. Not only do they offer an array of performances, but the festival also includes a number of free outdoor activities and shows.

Les Rendez-vous des Grands Orchestres

Why not spend a Sunday summer afternoon outdoors listening to the best of the best in Orchestra? Since 2012, la Fédérations des harmonies et des orchestres symphoniques du Québec (FHOSQ) is involved in the presentation of Les Rendez-vous des Grands Orchestres at the Esplanade in the Olympic Park. Enjoy a series of free concerts starting July 26, 2015 from 4:30pm-5:30pm, offered every Sunday afternoon until the month of September.
