We know you’re as excited as we are for April to come around. Why? Because that’s when the Cabane a Sucre Brunch at Le Cheese will grace our plates. We’ve got the exclusive first look at the delicious and mouth-watering dishes that they’re going to serve. Are you hungry? Well, you will be.

Le Cheese is making a classic sugar shack meal with a few twists. First up, the traditional Quebecois pork paste, creton. It may sound standard, but it packs a punch of flavour. Next, the pea soup, another classic, but this time with a ham bone in hoc, meaning the succulent ham still had its bone while cooking. The distinct ham bone flavours will transform your run-of-the-mill pea soup into something spectacular.

Now for the big dogs. Maple bean poutine. Let’s let that sink in. Potato wedges, cheese curds, and slow cooked maple beans. Breakfast poutine + sugar shack maple = a major foodgasm.

The last of your “mains” for this breakfast of champions is the French toast croque monsieur: deep fried Challah bread topped with slow cooked maple ham, gruyere, parmesan, and a sunny side up egg. We know you probably have a mental food baby right now, but save it for when you actually try out these hearty dishes.

No meal is complete without dessert, so you’re going to get fluffy golden brown pancakes served with whipped cream cheese and maple butter. Whipped. Cream. Cheese. Oh and chocolate chips are an optional extra. Finally, Le Cheese won’t let you leave without the classic tire sur la neige, maple syrup on snow served on a Popsicle. Careful not to get the delicious sticky stuff in your hair, ladies (or all you dudes with long locks)!

Now that you’ve seen what you’re going to eat, hurry up and reserve here. Hope to see you there!
