Ambiance: elegant, professional

Located on Notre-Dame St in Old Montreal, Le Muscadin is an Italian fine dining establishment with friendly staff and an in-house sommelier. Once inside, you’ll notice a classic European decor marked by a Grandfather clock, bronze colored curtains, and a number of rustic paintings. Once seated, you will be presented with their signature homemade bread and garden fresh tomatoes, a genuinely delicious treat. Having won multiple awards, Le Muscadin has been known for several years to hold a distinguished reputation in serving authentic and gourmet Italian dishes. As such, the menu puts forward a palatable variety of choices all of which worth mentioning for their flavorful edge and superior quality. For a truly divine cut of veal, try the Scallopini Catanese marinated in white wine and topped with slices of eggplant and tomato. Pastas are all excellent, particularly the Gnocchi Emiliana, a known favourite among guests.

As though the food wasn’t enough, the restaurant holds in its basement what is perhaps the most impressive wine cellar in the city, with a staggering 20,000 bottles of Italian wines that will leave connoisseurs baffled. Choosing a wine can seem overwhelming even for the biggest connoisseur. Don’t be shy! A sommelier is there to help guide and educate you in your wine selection.

Already a popular destination among the business community, Le Muscadin is an ideal location for business lunches and dinners, with private rooms available as needed. However, bring your friends or family and you will be welcomed by staff with open arms.
