Many frolic to Montreal’s Plateau area for different reasons; because they are looking for a good café, a new brunch spot or a busy bar. All of those can be found in one location that is walking distance from Mont-Royal metro. Les Folies’ menu includes Mexican, Italian, Chinese, French and Californian fusion dishes. Whatever cravings patrons are having, it’s bound to be on the menu. There are several vegetarian options as well including a tofu, grilled coconut, avocado, lettuce, tomato wrap with spicy mayonnaise for $13.55.

Customers can order brunch until 3:30pm. With items on the brunch menu like duck confit eggs Benedict with caramelized onions ($13.75) as well as omelettes such as an avocado, salsa, sour cream and pine nut omelette ($12.25), picking the wrong choice would be a feat in itself.

Every Tuesday and Friday nights, Les Folies books a DJ. Wednesdays are electronica indie nights with DJ Dannydan, Thursdays are 80s and electronica nights with Overnite, and Saturdays, Maurice M spins house mixes. DJs play from 7:30pm until closing.

Les Folies has a wide selection of drinks on their cocktail menu including a selection from Quebec microbreweries, a Mangotini which includes peach schnapps, vodka and mango sherbet ($7.25) and a pretty tasty pear and pineapple daiquiri ($7.55).

Their hours of operation are from 9:00am to 11:45pm from Sundays to Tuesdays, Wednesdays until 12:00am, Thursdays until 12:30am and Fridays and Saturdays until 1:00am.
