In our own way, through our common love of music, we wish to deliver a striking, high-coloured event. The funds collected on May 6th will contribute to the purchase of leading medical equipment, advanced research and advancement of teaching in pediatric medicine as well as maintain such important programs as music therapy” – Dr. Jean-Philip Lacrois, co-founder of the Symphonic Smiles and resident doctor in dermatology at the McGill University Health Centre.

The Montreal Youth Symphony Orchestra, led by renowned conductor and artistic director Louis Lavigueur, Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal, and Charlotte Cardin (finalist in La Voix 2013), are all donating their time and talent to generate money for such a worthy and special cause. This magical evening will blow you away with performances by an orchestra, choir, and soloist combining classical, contemporary, and even popular pieces.

This melodious event isn’t without the planning and coordination of the Young Leaders Circle, under the honourary presidency of Dr. Preetha Krishnamoorthy. Their mission is to collect more than $50,000 for the most urgent needs of the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

We encourage you to participate by posting a selfie on social media with the hashtag #SouriresSymphoniques.
