Taking place this Wednesday is the 2nd Annual Let’s Bond x Holt Renfrew spring event “En Vogue avec Holt” from 6-9pm. Founded in 2011 by a group of young professionals, Let’s Bond’s mission is to raise funds and awareness for mental illness, particularly the effects on young professionals. The founding committee states they are trying to de-stigmatize mental health issues by opening channels of communication and donating money to an organization called Nothing’s Working. The latter is a training program for managers and employees to help detect and manage mental illness issues in the workplace.
This year, Let’s Bond and Holt Renfrew are collaborating to raise both funds and awareness. This year’s event is being held at Holt Renfrew on Sherbrooke Street Ouest. Guests will be experiencing an exclusive shopping experience where they will be able to network while enjoying drinks, bouchées, and special treats to the sounds of DJ Thomas H.
Let’s Bond is clearly a James Bond themed event, but mental illness is anything but a fictional tale. Let’s openly discuss the importance of mental health, let’s break the stigma around mental illness in the workplace, let’s lend an ear to our friends and colleagues… Let’s Bond.
