This Sunday, December 4th, Montreal is getting its bake on for a good cause. Presented by The Lincoln Apartment Bakery, the MTL BAKEOFF: Christmas Edition will be featuring homemade goodies prepared by both amateur and semi-professional bakers.
Pick up a sweet treat at the Afternoon Tea and Treats Bar and mingle with celebrity judges, Montreal bloggers, baking teachers, and of course, the bakers themselves. Guests will also have the opportunity to watch demonstrations, participate in prize giveaways, taste some desserts, and tally up scores to help decide the crowning of Montreal’s Best Baker. And you can be there for all the glory!
All proceeds will go to the Mission Old Brewery, a charitable organization that offers emergency services to Montreal’s men and women who find themselves without a stable place to call home. This is definitely an organization we can stand behind, and if we can help by tasting some sweet treats, who are we to say no?

For $32, you get entry to the MTLBAKEOFF, three dessert-tasting tickets, a free glass of wine, free tea, coffee, and treats at the bar, entry in the draw for door prizes, and full access to baking demonstrations. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to us! Such a small price to pay to help Montrealers in need!
