The Ritz-Carlton

For those looking for a true fairytale-like wedding, the Ritz-Carlton is your go-to venue. Its lavish elegance and sophisticated allure make it the ideal spot for an unforgettable wedding. What you can expect at a Ritz-Carlton wedding reception? Gorgeous chandeliers, dimmed candlelight, white tablecloth tables, and delicious food, in a hall that can accommodate up to 350 people. That’s just the tip of the iceberg! Their attentive staff and event planners work closely with every couple to help deliver the wedding of their dreams. They’ll even help you plan your entertainment and choose your flower arrangements. Quite simply, the luxury of the Ritz-Carlton is second to none, making it a top pick for your special day.

La Toundra

Want to have a wedding where you can enjoy the great outdoors, but don’t want to go too far out of the city? What if we told you about a magical place close to the city, surrounded by glass windows which look out onto nothing but trees? If this sounds like your ideal venue, La Toundra at Parc Jean-Drapeau is where you want to have your wedding! This place is truly one of Montreal’s hidden gems. Simple, intimate, and sitting right in the heart of Parc Jean-Drapeau‘s Floralies Gardens, La Toundra can accommodate up to 200 people. With a terrace right outside and the option of renting out the garden, La Toundra is a stunning venue for a summer wedding in Montreal.

Chateau Vaudreuil

Le Chateau Vaudreuil is an upscale and highly reputable hotel located in the west end of Vaudreuil, on the scenic shores of Lac Deux-Montagnes. To say that the Chateau Vaudreuil carries a romantic flair would be a huge understatement. With a beautiful view of the lake, a stunning 25 acre garden, and a spacious banquet hall large enough to accommodate 500 people, it is an exceptional venue for a wedding in Montreal. Don’t take our word for it though: the Chateau Vaudreuil is rated both a 4 Diamond establishment by the AAA/CAA as well as a 5 star hotel by Tourism Québec. Waterfront wedding, anyone?

Le Place d’Armes Hotel & Suites

The Place d’Armes Hotel is without a doubt one of the most chic and sophisticated hotels in all of Montreal. More than that though, it has a truly unique charm to it, which is accentuated by the fact that it incorporates both old as well as modern influences in its decor and overall allure. At the Place d’Armes Hotel, a room featuring cobblestone walls can be furnished with translucent framed chairs; it looks absolutely fabulous. Also, its banquet hall can accommodate up to 200 guests. Can’t decide whether you want a rustic or contemporary venue for your wedding? Why choose? Place d’Armes Hotel & Suites provides the best of both worlds.

Located on the waterfront in Île-Bizard, the Saint-Raphaël golf club is both scenic and very elegant, making it a wonderful spot to have your wedding. Outside, the 4000 sq ft. terrace, waterfalls, colorful gardens, and trails leading down to the picturesque waterfront make for a pleasant cocktail hour and a potential romantic evening walk for wedding guests or the bride and groom themselves! Auberge Saint-Gabriel (Grenier de l’Auberge)

Most of us know the Auberge Saint-Gabriel as an upscale French restaurant in Montreal’s Old Port. Most, however, do not of Grenier, Auberge Saint-Gabriel‘s quaint and rustic-looking hall. Its aged cobblestone walls and wooden panels on the walls and ceilings give it an old charm and romantic allure, further accentuated by string lights and a set of vintage pianos. While the hall isn’t very big and is therefore only suitable for smaller scale and more intimate weddings, its unique decor and historic flair cannot be ignored. Also check out Auberge Saint-Gabriel‘s other halls, La Truteau and Salle Dulong, all of which provide a lovely setting for an intimate wedding with your closest friends and family.

The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (Glass Court)

Remember Carrie and Mr. Big’s Sex and the City wedding at the New York Public Library? Well, that was only half as good as the Montreal Museum of Fine ArtsGlass Court. Besides the fact that the Glass Court is an utterly beautiful venue surrounded by glass windows that look out onto the city, there is something so sophisticated and completely unconventional about having your wedding in a museum, the Museum of Fine Arts at that. In its contemporary and spacious setting, the Glass Court can accommodate up to 200 wedding guests. The best part about having your wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts? You and your guests will have direct access to select exhibition galleries! Have a wedding videographer follow you around the galleries for the most unique wedding video you’ll be proud to show off to friends and families for years to come. Situated on the shores of Lac St-Louis in Dorval, the Forest and Stream Club is a 130 year-old manor. Apart from the scenic view of the lake, the terrace, and the beautiful garden, the Forest and Stream Club proposes a classic and elegant setting, complete with stone walls, gold chandeliers, and crisp white tables and chairs. When combining the main hall with the Salle Forget, the Club can accommodate up to 110 people.
