For the mothers sick of getting stared down at Starbucks, sick of aimlessly pushing a stroller around the mall, and sick of always taking your kids to the same old park, this is for you. Check out our guide for the best activities and spots to take your kids to in and around the city.

Arts & Crafts Studios

Café Ceramic
Take your kids to one of Café Ceramic‘s three locations across the city and encourage their sense of creativity! Both you and your kids will have a great time painting your choice of ceramic mugs, plates or figurines. Create an adorable memento of your baby’s handprint on a mug. Once you’re done painting, your ceramic piece will be placed in a large oven-type room to dry and may be ready to take home the very same day. While you’re waiting, have a snack or enjoy a yummy latte!

4Cats
Head to one of 4Cats art studios in Montreal, where your kids can take part in various artistic activities that are too messy to do at home. Offered activities include clay sculpting, silkscreen painting and splatter painting. Their spring drawing classes are perfect for older kids aged 10-15; learn more about them here. 4Cats also does birthdays; choose from a fairy, knight, or pirate-themed party!

They even have their own lactation consultants. What’s more, they also have a playground to keep the toddlers busy.
