Can’t make it to New York City for a Broadway show? No problem! Montreal has got you covered. The creators of South Park and Avenue Q bring their popular and crowd-selling production to Montreal. The Broadway show The Book of Mormon is being held for your eager viewing pleasure at Place des Arts from December 2, 2014 to December 7, 2014.

It is the first time the production is being featured Montreal while on tour and you sure don’t want to miss it! Note: the show is intended for a more mature audience because it is said to have explicit language.

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone wrote the musical with Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez. The story behind the musical is in its title. The Book of Mormon is about two young Mormon missionaries who are sent to Uganada. They soon discover that everything they’ve learned did not prepare them for the world outside of Salt Lake City.

The Book of Mormon first started in 2011 and has won nine Tony awards. That’s a pretty big accomplishment so far! It is one of those musicals that will definitely change your opinion of Broadway (if you ever had a less than positive opinion… although we can’t understand how that could be). Seeing as the show is a production from the creators of South Park, there is no doubt that you will be laughing off your seats.

Tickets are already on sale on the Evenko website, so get them quickly because they’re going fast.
