In collaboration with the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon are celebrating where it all began. Thirty years ago, the duo founded their company Lemieux & Pilon 4D Art in Montreal, and through May 1 to August 31, 2014, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is once again host to their Dreamscapes: 30 Years of Innovative Performances installation. Celebrating the work they have accomplished, the installation is a representation of thirty years in the making, showcasing the evolution of their company, of their art, and of themselves as artists.

Dreamscapes uses five stage productions performed throughout the years from Lemieux and Pilon’s company. They are showcased on large projection screens throughout the space, allowing you to walk through the productions and truly feel immersed within the installation. A variety of mediums including dance, theater, film, poetry, music, and sound are used to create a captivating show. Dreamscapes is a digital art installation. Lemieux and Pilon use both performing arts and new technologies, challenging you to distinguish between reality and the digital world.

Lemieux and Pilon are known around the world for their creative and unique art, so what better way to celebrate their career than by returning to Montreal? Tickets are only $12.50 and allow access to multiple exhibitions throughout the museum. While you’re checking out Dreamscapes, why not make it a daylong excursion by seeing what else the museum has to offer.
