Tell the Family is a production created by Confabulation Montreal. Dare to share some of you family tales? Or do you have any made up tales with a family theme? A true-life storytelling show, Tell the Family is an annual family show just in time for the holidays. The audience is encouraged to send their submissions of personal and inherited family stories. The entire show is a live storytelling of true stories not necessarily about the storyteller. Come see if your story will get chosen, or just come listen to the tales of others.

Sons et Brioches – Un Conte de Noël

A great activity for the entire family, Sons et Brioches – Un conte de Noël (A Christmas Carol) is a French only show presented by Place des Arts and Jeunesses Musicales Canada. For children between the ages of 3-8 years old, the classic tale from Charles Dickens is performed using over ten different instruments and features well-known Christmas carols. Before the main event, there is breakfast being offered which includes muffins, croissants, coffee, and juice. There will also be a series of games, quizzes, and animations. A Sunday Funday you definitely do not want to miss!

Lyrics & Latkes: A Chanukah Sing-a-long

Just in time for the holidays, The Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theater is putting on its annual Chanukah sing-a-long. Whether you know the songs, can speak Yiddish (or not), come join the fun and feel the holiday spirit on December 9, 2015 at 7:00pm. The songs will be in Yiddish, Hebrew, and English with English transliteration and supertitles. The event is titled Lyrics & Latkes (a famous Jewish pancake), and just like its title, there will be sing-a-long songs and latkes for everyone!

A classic during the holiday season, Les Grande Ballets Canadiens is back again for another year with their performance of The Nutcracker. Playing throughout the whole month of December, the story of Clara, the nutcracker, and the magical night of Christmas Eve comes to life on stage in this ballet performance. The show is suitable for both adults and children, so why not spend some time with your family enjoying a very famous show.
