Tommy Café has made Instagram explode ever since it first opened, with its picturesque décor and yummy treats and coffees. The two-floor café in the heart of Old Montreal is a paradise all in white with beautiful and intricate mouldings all along the walls and ceilings. And let’s not forget the incredible ceiling with green vines that is the subject of everyone’s Instagram page.
Not only is Tommy a beautiful space where you can find Montrealers pouring over their books and laptops with coffee in hand, but it is also a new go-to brunch spot. They recently launched their brunch and it’s the perfect combination of coffee shop chic with simple and wholesome food.
Their star brunch menu item is their triple-decker egg sandwich with black forest ham, cheese, tomato, and lettuce. It’s filling and a great way to start your day, especially if your day starts at noon (does anyone wake up in time for breakfast on the weekends anymore?).
If you want something sweet, they have delicious little bomboloni and cannoli to satisfy your cravings. They also have croissants and chocolatines for that touch of France in Montreal.
As for their coffee, they have all the fixings. If you’re not in the mood for milk in your coffee (lactose-intolerant peeps, we’re talking you), they have soy milk, almond milk, and coconut milk. Yes, coconut milk. And it’s delicious.
If you’re roaming around Old Montreal with a caffeine headache and some serious hanger (isn’t that how all Sunday mornings are spent?), or maybe if you’re just in the mood for a quick bite, stop by Tommy Café. And don’t forget to snap a picture.
