Now, the site is launching its new mobile app, making it even easier for us to find what we’re looking for. And the best part: between May 20th and 27th, every download of the free app automatically donates $2 to the Food Banks of Quebec. But that’s not all!
To top it all off, RestoMontreal is inviting y’all to come celebrate the launch of their brand new app at La Fête des Restos on May 30th at the beautiful Terrasses Bonsecours in Montreal’s Old Port. Again, the event is designed as a fundraiser with all proceeds going towards the Food Banks of Quebec network and their mission to provide food assistance for Quebecers in need.
With only 250 tickets ($30 each) on sale, La Fête des Restos welcomes guests to an exclusive evening of culinary explorations with tastings from eleven local restaurants. “La Fête des Restos aims to give to people in need, as well as celebrate our city’s rich food culture”, says RestoMontreal director and co-founder Anthony Mustillo.
At the event, guests can eat their way through specialities prepared by some of Montreal’s top-reviewed eateries, including many all-time favourites such as Rasoi, Mercuri, Diablos BBQ Smokehouse, and Lola Rosa. The event is a great opportunity to catch up with restaurants you love and to discover new ones, and all that for a good cause.
