Looking to have a fun night out for a great cause? When Montrealers stick together, beautiful things happen. A few volunteers are organizing and hosting a beautiful evening of drinks, music, and tasty cuisine to raise money in support of the Canadian Red Cross at the swanky Le Pois Penché, the delicious Parisian brasserie in the heart of downtown Montreal. The money raised will go toward the Red Cross’ emergency response services to help those in need across the province of Quebec.
The Canadian Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that lends a helping hand to countries in need around the world. In our very own Montreal community, the Canadian Red Cross has been providing substantial aid to those affected by the massive floods that have been taking the city by storm. In Quebec alone, the Red Cross is called upon an average of three times a day to help in emergency situations, and more than daily in the Montreal area. The funds raised at le Pois Penché’s cocktail evening will go towards ensuring the Canadian Red Cross can offer the best help to those in need as quickly and efficiently as possible.
The stunning venue for the fundraiser, le Pois Penché, is a Parisian brasserie located at the corner of Drummond and de Maisonneuve in downtown Montreal. The restaurant prides itself in drawing inspiration from classic French cuisine to create unique dishes with a special Montreal flair. Serving a variety of lunch, dinner, and late-night menus, the restaurant boasts a wide range of elegant seafood, tartares, steaks, and more. We especially love their authentic French cheese platters and fresh homemade pastas.
In the chic private dining room, guests will receive a glass of wine or beer with the purchase of their ticket along with a variety of flavourful hors d’oeuvres prepared by le Pois Penché. Squish, the best in gourmet artisanal gummies, will also be providing an assortment of delicious candies for guests to nibble on. On top of the food and drinks, there will be a silent auction, live band followed by a DJ, door prizes, and more!
