We can give you one good enough reason to venture out to Pointe Saint-Charles for your next café discovery: Le Café Bloom. This welcoming little café, which is actually quite spacious and airy, is a spot in which the regulars here are mostly locals.

Le Café Bloom is bright and comforting, with a clash of rustic décor and vintage accents, such as their countertops and dishes. A view of their open kitchen and mismatched furniture adds to their charm and even more so, the family- and student-friendly atmosphere.

You can find the entirety of their menu scrawled along several chalkboards changing quite frequently, usually with each season. These delicious menu changes are due to the fact that Le Café Bloom uses local produce. Le Café Bloom uses organic and fair-trade coffee, supplied by Le Bruloir as well as teas from Puretea, which is recognized for its active involvement in the Montreal community.

Le Café Bloom is also a nice spot for a weekend brunch.  Everything is made in house with fresh ingredients. We love to dibble dabble into salty and sweet so we suggest La Grande Assiette Bloom: a savoury dish that comes with 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, roasted potatoes, beans, sourdough, and homemade jam. Finish it off with the heart shaped Belgian Waffles, the perfect combination of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They come with butter, maple syrup, sprinkled powdered sugar, and fruit on the side.

You could definitely find yourself spending the entire day here and it has nothing to do with the free Wi-Fi… okay, maybe just a little!
