Montreal’s Comiccon may not rival some of the bigger and badder events in the U.S., but it looks like we’re making waves in the happy geek community with an incredible lineup this year (major nerdgasms happening)! They just keep announcing new and exciting faces to the lineup and we couldn’t be more excited.

The most recent acquisition is none other than Eliza Dushku, famous for her role as Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. She also starred in Tru Calling and Dollhouse. We wonder if she’ll bring her stake (a girl can dream).

This year’s guests of honour do not disappoint. Our favourite McGill grad William Shatner will be gracing us with his presence (squeal!). The iconic Captain Kirk is coming back for a visit and we’re only a little eager (more like very eager).

From the Star Trek family, Kate Mulgrew is another guest of honour. Captain Janeway will be bringing her badass-ness to Montreal to please the masses. If you don’t know her as the fearless Star Trek captain, you probably know her as Red from Orange is the New Black. She always kicks ass.

The final guest of honour is millenials’ favourite bad guy, Draco Malfoy – err, Tom Felton. The Harry Potter star is here to win our hearts over again. Do you think he’ll bring along the dynamic trio? Fingers crossed!

Ghostbuster fans will be happy to know that Ernie Hudson is making his way to town! We wonder if he’s still against the new Ghostbusters reboot?

Our favourite sword wrangling prince Westley from The Princess Bride will be at this year’s Comiccon! We swooned over his mask and witty words as kids; we wonder what effect Cary Elwes will have on us now. As Youuuuu Wiiiiiish!

Now, for the guys to swoon over, Morena Baccarin will be at this year’s event. The Deadpool and Homeland star is no stranger to the world of comics, having portrayed several DC characters over her career.

For a complete list of Montreal Comiccon guests, click here. Comiccon is from July 8th to 10th, 2016. Get your tickets here before they run out. Three day tickets will set you back $65 for general admission and one day tickets start at $25. If you want to attend the Star Trek 50th Anniversary Special Event on July 9th, the tickets start at $24.

Head over to the Palais des Congrès this summer to get your nerd on. If you want to find us, we’ll be fangirling with Eliza Dushku (please don’t call security).
