Montreal is not lacking in things to see and do in the city, especially in the summer months when the city really comes alive! Whether it’s one of the many festivals, outdoor concerts, the infamous Grand Prix, or just enjoying the sights and local gems, there’s something to do for everyone and every budget!
But if you’re looking for something new and exciting, check out the last weekend of the 2015 season of Pop Montreal’s Marché des Possibles which takes place this Friday, August 7th to Sunday, August 9th. In collaboration with the l’Arrondissement du Plateau-Mont-Royal and Pop Montreal, the 2nd year of the Marché des Possibles offers an open air market in the heart of the Mile End.
You can enjoy various food trucks on Friday afternoons, a biergarten, a BBQ on the Saturday night, art exhibits, films, shopping from local vendors, and family activities with plenty for the kids to enjoy, including art and theater workshops and a circus. This all takes place in the parking lot of the Saint-Louis Arena as well as the adjacent park.
The closing party will be this Sunday, August 9th. Marché des Possibles will close at 11:00pm and there will be food trucks and a BBQ to keep all of you hungry people (more than) satisfied. There will also be music specially programmed by Pop Montreal’s creative director Dan Seligman.
