The SVR Children’s Foundation Noche de Niños was a resounding success! As usual (we know how to throw an epic party), the 5th instalment of our fabulous soirées for a good cause was amazing. The crowd was incredible and our sponsors blew us away with their incredible participation.
As per our Mexican fiesta theme, the Théatre Paradoxe was colourful and full of life. May we give a round of applause to the excellent team over there? They helped us pull off the event without a hitch, and we were more than impressed with the wonderful things they accomplished. The light show we were privileged with was spectacular, to say the least.
Our food station sponsors delivered! Everything was delicious and guests kept going back for more.
Dilallo Burger was parked outside in their food truck serving up their classic hamburgers to hungry guests.
Fiorellino had their mouthwatering porchetta sliced on the spot for tasty meaty sandwiches.
Ristorante Da Vinci served up perfectly executed mushroom risotto that we couldn’t get enough of.
Brera got creative with the theme and made chilli taco pasta. We wish we had thought of it sooner!
Mother Shuckers served 3 types of oysters from their adorable vespa stand for a mother shucking good time.
El Mio, true to theme, provided endless empanadas that we kept going back for.
Lafrenaie had their signature doughnut wall along with cupcakes, cookies, and so many delicious sweets! Did you see those llama cookies? SO CUTE!
Finally, Papi Churros was serving up fresh churros with endless topping combinations! Talk about a sweet deal.
For drinks, our favourite Brahm Mauer delivered with two types of mojitos and two types of margaritas. And they did not skimp out on the liquor!
To spice things up, QueBra‘s Lovely Señorita Olivia sold tequila shots to the brave and she was definitely a popular girl! Our guests know how to drink!
And our guests stayed awake with the help of Union coffee, serving up excellently crafted espresso and coffee for all.
Our raffle and silent auction were a resounding success. So many prizes were given away, nearly everyone was a winner! Lucky guests went home with goodies from Maserati Laval, Nuva Salon & Spa, Ella Dugre, Boutique Ma2, Di Carlo Couture, and more! And one lucky guest won the coveted Air Canada roundtrip fares!
Another popular auction item was the live art painted by none other than Frida Kahlo artist Cara Carmina. It was so interesting to watch an artist at work, and then potentially take home the original piece!
We were lucky to have TWO amazing hosts this year: Kim Sullivan and Tony Marinaro! They both killed it and worked the crowd like butter. We jammed all night long to music by Entertainment Stars.
Towards the end of the evening, we were wowed and amazed by the incredible performance by World Salsa Champions Samantha Scali and Adriano Ieropoli of Novaera. Wow can they dance! The crowd was roaring.
Our corporate sponsors helped make this event the magical night it was. The the Mirella & Lino Saputo Foundation were our media sponsor of the night, with the interactive social media well, a custom Snapchat filter, and a live stream of the entire evening in collaboration with the awesome guys behind Too Much Sugar.
JV Deco Masonry had an incredibly beautiful photo booth set up in collaboration with Entertainment Stars and Luluthia Party Room.
Our Piñata Sponsor, CIBC Carrefour Angrignon, brought us back to our childhood with the uproariously fun game for adults and kids.
Special thanks to Haute Balloon, Luluthia Designs, Luluthia Party Room, and MTL Avec Amour.
Other incredible sponsors we have to thank are Les Excavations Super, Impervius Roofing, Ropak, Vitesse Transport, and Nico Vani of Omni Rails.
Finally, the moment you’ve all been waiting for… we raised over $50,000 for the Complex Care Services at the Montreal Children’s Hospital!!! Incredible! We are so proud of this accomplishment and we can’t wait to see what we do next year. Thank you to everyone who came and donated! If you’d still like to make a donation, you definitely can by clicking here.
