Nestled in the heart of Old Montreal only feet away from Notre-Dame Basilica lies Xavier Artisan, a true gem with something for everyone. Offering up delicious drinks and fantastic food, everything on the menu is homemade with local, natural products that will make your mouth water. With hot drinks to warm you up during these chilly winter months, and an array of both sweet and savoury snacks, foodies of every taste will simply adore this classic café.

If you’re a java junkieXavier Artisan is somewhere you really need to check out. Serving great coffee and seasonal specials, this is the place to get your caffeine kick! For a limited time this holiday season, you can taste some out of this world lattes. Get in the Christmas spirit with a Gingerbread Latte, or embrace your Canadian side while sipping Maple Pecan. We sampled the Salted Caramel Latte and have been dreaming about it ever since (it’s unbelievably yummy).

If you’re not a coffee drinker, worry not! Xavier Artisan has a lovely tea selection and scrumptious hot chocolate; they also offer cold drinks, which we cannot mention without recommending the pomegranate lemonade.

Delectable drinks are far from the only thing they have to offer. Whether it’s breakfast or lunch, Xavier Artisan will leave you full and satisfied. The have a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and pastries. Le Classis Morning Wrap will keep you full all morning with it’s mouth-watering mix of bacon and provolone (vegetarians need not worry, there are many veggie wraps also available, and are excellent).

For those with smaller appetites, the Yogurt & Honey Crunch is incredibly tasty. Looking to snack, or maybe a bit of dessert? We highly recommend the Chocolatine or the wonderful ice cream which is served year-round.
