It’s safe to say that we will all be tuning in to watch the Oscars this Sunday, whether it’s an annual tradition, you’ve been following the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, or you’re rooting for Leo to win his first Oscar (after all, he fought a bear and climbed into a horse carcass…give it to him already!). With all of this anticipation and excitement should come an Oscars viewing party, and that’s exactly what Rosewood has planned for you!
Why go through the trouble of hosting an Oscars viewing party at home, when you can get your glitz and glam on rocker style at Rosewood this Sunday, February 28th at 7:00pm. Watch the Oscars from Montreal’s biggest HD screen, sip A-list cocktails, and indulge in fun award show eats.
Local celebrity Jonas Tomalty, singer from Jonas & the Massive Attractions and co-owner of Rosewood, will be hosting and bartending for an evening of Oscar worthy debauchery! A glass of Martini Proseco will be offered to each guest. There will be specialty flavoured in-house popcorn available, and get this, you will also enjoy a special menu for the evening. A party without music, said Jonas never! We love Rosewood‘s love for good music, so you’ll get to enjoy a live DJ who will be spinning the night away.
A special bonus for the evening is casting your vote for best film and best actors. Tell Rosewood who you think will win on their Facebook page using the hashtag #ROSEWOODMTL at the end of your answer. If you’re right, Rosewood will celebrate your prediction with shots for you and your group (votes are limited to one per person).
