When Viviane Nguyen started Petit Lapin, a vegan, gluten-, and allergy-free bakery, two years ago, she simply wanted to create a safe place for her son to enjoy delectable treats like any other kid. Little did she know that her dream of creating a bakery for her son would be enjoyed by the entire city, both children and adults, allergies or not!
Last week, Montreal’s socialites gathered together to celebrate Petit Lapin’s amazing two years in business. The event took place at Station 16, and when dessert and art unite, it makes for one sweet, sweet night! While we moved to mixes spun by DJ Jovie J, we indulged in the new Deluxe Cupcakes. We sampled chocolate, caramel, and sundae flavours, all mouth-wateringly delicious and almost too cute to eat!
We sipped on fine organic herbal teas from Lov Organic, and in-between our cupcake tasting we couldn’t help but reach into the candy jars filled with handcrafted bunny candies and cherry blossom lollipops from Candy Labs. A perfect match for a Petit Lapin event, as Candy Labs is also vegan, gluten-, and allergy-free.
While Station 16 is already a spectacular urban art gallery on its own, Petit Lapin added a special touch with its signature white, pink, and tiffany blue colours. The room was festive with vibrant balloon bouquets and single oversized balloons with tasseled tails by Haute Balloon, gorgeous flowerbox arrangements by Luluthia Floral Design, and the fun was turned up a notch higher with a dessert themed photo booth from Le Selfie Booth.
Our taste buds have been screaming for more Deluxe Cupcakes for days now. Lucky for all of us, starting this week, Petit Lapin‘s Deluxe Cupcakes are available at the bakery for all to try!
