This year marks the 6th edition of the Montréal Complètement Cirque festival. This annual summer festival takes place July 2 to July 12, 2015 and is filled with contortionists, flips, juggling, balancing acts, clowning around, flying, and many other common circus acts.

Montreal’s Quartiers des Spectacles transforms into a circus frenzy, with both indoor and outdoor events. While many fan favorites have returned to this year’s festival, you can expect new shows like Duels, presented every night for free (excluding July 6, 2015) on place Émilie-Gamelin. Also on the same dates, located on Saint-Denis street, is Les Minutes Complètement Cirque, a new outdoor show of sporadic acrobatic acts performing all over the street while teasing passersby. At the end of their journey, a special show will take place somewhere in the Quartier Latin.

There are many different shows that are made available throughout the duration of the festival. In collaboration with La TOHU, the National Circus School, Cirque Éloize, Les 7 Doigts de la main, En Piste, and juggernaut Cirque du Soleil, Montréal Complètement Cirque is definitely a festival you don’t want to miss.

With Cirque du Soleil headquarters located here, it’s no surprise that Montreal is home to such an amazing circus festival!
