The prestigious one-day Grey Goose Pour Masters competition kicked off in Montreal last week and featured some of the city’s most prominent bartenders, mixologists, bar managers, and owners. Participants included cocktail aficionados such as Rosewood’s Dan Lima, Le LAB’s Fabien Maillard, and Philémon’s Rachel Osborne. This year’s regional winner was none other than the talented Jonathan Homier, bartender at one of Montreal’s quaint neighborhood bars, Le Saint-Édouard. At the end of July, Jonathan will be competing for the national title at the Grey Goose Le Logis alongside winners from Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto.

Next on the Pour Masters 2015 program was the lavish VIP Grey Goose Summer Soirée held at the Grey Goose Maison en Vol, a stunning private mansion in the heart of Montreal. Simple, elegant, and oozing with beautiful people, the lovely outdoor affair exuded a certain joie de vivre that was embodied by the brand itself. Guests enjoyed delicious hors-d’oeuvres, exquisite cocktails, and surprises throughout the night. Some of which included a horse in a costume and a synchronized swimming performance.

The Summer Soirée Cocktail Collection featured elevated plays on the classic Vodka & Soda. Our favourite cocktail of the night? Grey Goose L’Orange topped with chilled soda, and garnished with fresh lemon and basil; the perfect summer drink. Grey Goose certainly delivered a magical kick to summer in Montreal.
