What if we told you there was a place where you can play dodgeball with bows and arrows? Yes, this actually exists, and even more excitingly, it’s the first of its kind in Montreal! Dodgebow is a fast-paced, exhilarating sport that combines the agility of dodgeball with the precision of archery.

The match sets up two teams against each other in a 45-min session (15 minutes are used for training and gearing up). Each session plays a few variations of the game to keep it interesting. There can be a maximum of 20 players at a time (2 teams of 10) — either in a private session or with other players that signed up for the same time slot. After playing Dodgebow even just once, you can sign up for their Advanced team that plays longer sessions with faster arrows.

Dodgebow all started when the three Montreal founders had the chance to play the game outside the province and immediately felt the need to bring it back home. They started the company over a year ago and it has been growing ever since. Just recently, Dodgebow opened up their permanent location in St-Henri, just walking distance from Place St-Henri metro.

We’re sure you’ve thought to yourself on countless occasions “What’s there to do in this city?” Well guess what, you can hang up your paintball guns because there’s a new sport in town. The concept might seem a little intimidating at first, but whether you’re Katniss Everdeen herself, or just an Average Joe (Intentional ‘Dodgeball’ movie reference), Dodgebow welcomes players of all skill levels ages 12 and up!

Dodgebow offers group deals for corporate events, bachelor/barchelorette parties, and birthday parties. Your friends will think you’re so cool for planning such an interesting event. Dodgebow is also the perfect option for anyone looking for a good team building activity for the office gang. You no longer need to come up with lame excuses as to why you can’t join the office soccer team. So why wait any longer to try out the coolest new sport in Montreal? The equipment is provided; all you need to do is sign up and show up!
