Looking to experience exquisite cuisine in a stylish setting? Then look no further because Colette Grand Café—located inside of Montreal’s iconic Holt Renfrew—is just the place for you. Chase Hospitality Group and Holt Renfrew announced a national culinary partnership to open Colette Grand Café in five of the luxury retailer’s locations across Canada. The French-inspired restaurant has and will replace Holts Café in Edmonton, Vancouver, and Toronto’s Yorkdale and Bloor Street locations. And of course, they’ve also included Montreal in the mix!
Colette Grand Café draws inspiration from Toronto’s restaurant Colette—a staple of the city’s upscale dining scene. With its chic and modern interior decor, Colette Grand Café allows you to taste its culinary excellence in a beautifully designed space. Well-known for brunch, dinner, and hosting events, Colette Grand Café is your next stop to celebrate any important event in an elegant setting.
Are you a self-proclaimed Brunch Queen (or King) and looking to try a new brunch spot? Well, you’re in luck, because Colette Grand Café offers a pretty extensive brunch menu, which is served all day on Saturdays and Sundays. You can check out their brunch menu here.
The restaurant’s à la carte menu is also one that offers a variety of dishes. Their small plates include choices such as hummus, beef tartare, and velouté. Their sandwiches include the tuna melt, avocado on toast, and mushroom on toast. Other items on the menu include black kale salad, pacific cod, caprese salad, and linguine—just to name a few.
On top of all of the food options, Colette Grand Café also has its cocktail menu, serving drinks that have unique names and mixes, such as vintage velvet, bonbon, and espressotini.
And of course, you can’t leave the restaurant without having tried their delicious desserts! Tiramisu and chocolate layer cake are two of their four options.
Colette Grand Café has the food part down pact and they are also conscientious about where it comes from. All of their seafood items are a sustainable choice, making them “Ocean Wise.” Another thing worth mentioning is on behalf of Holt Renfrew’s H Project, $1 from each black kale order and $2 from each poulet rôti order goes to the #KnotOnMyPlanet Crisis Fund, which supports efforts to end the killing of elephants and the trafficking and demand for their ivory around the world. Now there’s some food for thought.
So whether you’re looking to eat at a restaurant that supports a good cause or simply want to try the newest, trendiest spot in town, make Colette Grand Café your next option for a night (or morning) out!
