Something that will get Montrealers screaming in delight, the Eureka! Festival is returning to Montreal’s Centre des Sciences for its 9th edition. With over 88,000 visitors last year, it’s easy to see why Eureka! is one of the largest science festivals around . Remember how much fun it was watching Bill Nye The Science Guy or Wild Kratts? Entrance to the festival is free, and food and beverage services will be available. Due to Eureka!’s popularity and high amount of attendees, it’s recommended to use public transportation to get there. You’d not only be doing a service to the environment but also have less frustration and save money on parking fees.
The festival will be held on June 12th from 9:30am to 3:30pm, June 13th from 10:30am to 7:30pm and June 14th from 10:30am to 6:00pm. But the fun doesn’t end there. With the help of government funding, programs and activities occur all year round so the learning can continue on way after the festival.
