In the mood for fast, cheap, and delicious eats at nearly all hours of the day and night? Well, you’re in luck, because Chef on Call is the answer to all your hangry prayers. After a day (and likely night) of intense studying, or after one too many drinks, chances are you’ll be hungry. Where else should you go than Chef on Call?
You may think that Chef on Call is just a food delivery service (we were guilty of that), but in reality, it’s so much more! They recently opened a Pinterest-worthy location on Park (the Chef on Call boys shamelessly admitted to being heavily inspired by various Pinterest boards), and it’s a foodie haven!
The two owners, best friends and roommates for years, love food and love what they do, and it definitely translates in their food and customer service. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and they may motivate you to order a gluttonous amount of food (and you’ll have zero regrets).
Some of our favourites include their famous chicken tenders. If you’ve heard of Chef on Call, you’ve definitely heard of their chicken tenders. They’re moist, extra crispy, and incredibly addictive. Order yourself a serving and be prepared to fight off your jealous friends (you won’t want to share).
If you love their chicken tenders, you’ll also love their Spicy Crunch Chicken Burger ($12), with Monterey Jack cheese,hot banana peppers, crispy bacon, and homemade spicy mayo. Their Gourmet Burger ($12) is also fantastic, with a beef patty, Monterey Jack cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, and garlic mayo.
Pair your burger with curly fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings (you really can’t go wrong). Dip your fries in any of their homemade sauces, like honey mustard, garlic and dill, and Hawt Fire sauce.
Chef on Call isn’t just a burger joint; they have vegetarian and healthy options too, like the Cuban Wrap ($9) with avocado and sautéed mushrooms. They serve salads, veggie burgers, and pastas for their green eating clientele too.
And for the pièce de résistance: their to-die-for milkshakes. Chef on Call may be known for their chicken tenders, but they’re also known for their creamy and delicious shakes. We have a soft spot for the Oreo shake ($5) and the Reese’s Pieces shake ($6).
Chef on Call is opened from Thursday to Friday until 4am and from Sunday to Wednesday until 2am, perfect for that late night eats craving. Get your food to go, order in, or sit back and have a chat with the boys in their Park location. There are so many ways to enjoy your noms with Chef on Call.
