When the name Spice Station comes to mind, you think row upon row of spices, but it’s much more than that. Upon walking into the shop, you can smell aromas from all over the world; it takes you on a trip across the globe. Containing over 400 different kinds of spices and 100 kinds of teas from around the world, your eyes won’t know where to look next. Their spices, herbs, teas, and salts are all displayed on the walls in either tiny or big jars. You can open any jar that intrigues you so you can smell its contents.

Spice station opened up about two years ago by Peter Bahlawanian. He opened two shops in Montreal, one located on Monkland and the other on Bernard. He also has two other locations in California.

Spice station is great for people who are cooking aficionados, tea lovers, or people who just want to try something new, fresh, and organic. If you have trouble sleeping or want to start a detox, the staff at Spice Station can easily brew up a special blend for you. They even create and blend their own spices to make your recipes a lot more interesting, such as their special custom in-house chili mix blend, which contains over 20 different kinds of chili in one jar. Not a fan of herbs and spices? No problem! There’s an entire section of specialized sugars, such as blueberry sugar, cinnamon sugar, dark cocoa sugar, maple sugar, coconut sugar, and much more.

Spice Station is great for those looking to try something out of the ordinary. It’s your one-stop shop for all your cooking needs. Don’t be surprised if your dinner guests are dying to know your secret ingredient.
