A true Montrealer knows that Pub Burgundy Lion is the quintessential spot to kick back and enjoy a good soccer match while indulging in the best British eats and drinks. While they win in the pub scene, we must also give the Burgundy Lion Group credit for their active role in the community.

We said it, admission is free and we can’t think of a better way to cap off the long weekend! Join us Sunday, July 3rd from 1pm to 6pm, at the Percival Molson Stadium, to watch 24 of Montreal’s top bars and restaurants, including Apartment 200, SUWU, Fiorellino, Bar Confessional, Somwhr, and many more compete for the Lion’s Cup. An additional All-Star team will be made up of local celebrities and media stars, so come out, cheer them on, and may the best team win!

Setting the atmosphere will be the Red Bull DJ team spinning summertime jams. There will be human foosball, free haircuts by Maison Privée, a kids zone for the younglings, and Freestyle Soccer MTL showing off their skills with an impressive soccer presentation.

For those of you who aren’t avid soccer fans, but enjoy Montreal’s food scene, this event is equally for you too! There will be plenty of food from some of Montreal’s popular gastronomical talents, including Brit & Chips, Thursday’s, Houston’s, Junior, and Léché Desserts, and beer flowing all day long with choices like Molson, Carlsberg, Labatt, and Pabst Blue Ribbon. Then, at 5pm, witness 5 of the best jerk chicken restaurants go grill to grill in the Jerk Chicken Competition.
