Perfectly located on St-Laurent St near Sherbrooke, Nesta is a cross between being a bar lounge and an art gallery. Nesta has an urban lofty feel to it with its brick walls and hardwood floors, but it’s the artwork that graces the venue which gives it its flare. The walls and white couches are decked out with colorful celebrity-inspired artwork from one of Montreal’s upcoming artist, Mimmo Scali.
Nesta’s music selection has something for everyone. Whether you want to hear some so bad but so good nineties dance hits, Motown, rock out to some eighties hits, or sing along to something that’s hot right now, you won’t be disappointed.
Their mixed drinks definitely deserve some recognition. You cannot go wrong with any of their suggestively named shots or cocktails. Leave the straight shots for another night and try their Call Me shot made of raspberry vodka, amaretto, cranberry, and lime or their Superstar Punani which includes vodka, Midori, orange juice and lime. Love Shots are priced at five for $15, ten for $25 and fifteen for $35.
