What better way to relive your childhood than by going to watch Tony® Award-winning The Lion King on Broadway. Not planning a trip to the Big Apple? Fret not; Montreal’s Place-des-Arts theater has the pleasure of hosting the musical from August 19th to September 14th, 2014. The show contains over 40 cast members as well as original songs from the movie. Simba’s journey is brought to life, inspired by the famous Disney movie and traditional African dance, music, and costume.

Watch the animals of the savannah come to life, enter Pride Rock, and have your senses blown by the stunning sets and musical pieces. Join your favourite characters, like Simba, Nala, Rafiki, and who can forget, Timone and Pumbaa, in an adventure that promotes and embraces the family bond. It’s a show you don’t want to miss and can be enjoyed by all ages. Why not use this as an excuse to gather the family and spend the night enthralled in a story fondly remembered and loved by all. Tickets are now on sale (buy them here) and are between $48.50 – $160. Hakuna Matata!
