Tea is all the rage right now, and Cardinal Tea Room does not fail to impress. Conveniently located right next door to The Sparrow, comes the bright tiny red door. Once customers make their way up the narrow staircase, they will find an elegant 1920’s recreation of London with all its tea-time glory. The owner’s have nailed the decor. Everything from the antique furniture to the classic vintage fine china has been perfectly executed to deliver a truly authentic concept. If there’s one thing the owners of The Sparrow and Cardinal Tea Room know how to create it’s ambience, and this goes beyond deco, down to the very essence of any business.

If tea isn’t your thing, don’t worry; The Cardinal serves a basic cup of coffee even though the main focus is on black teas. They also serve scrumptious cakes, scones and biscuits! All of which go perfectly hand in hand with a nice cup of tea. At Cardinal, all baked goods are freshly baked which makes them all the more delicious. They even serve small tea sandwiches for those who do not have a sweet tooth. With all this hype, prices range from $3 to $8: plus one for affordability. Cardinal’s opening hours are Friday to Sunday from 11:00am to 7:00pm although it’s important to note that they will be expanding their working schedules in the near future. Wifi is also available free of charge.

If you are looking for a playful, laid-back activity, The Cardinal is certainly the place to go!
