Recently, we had the pleasure of attending Être Avec Toi (Ê.A.T) Restaurant’s one-year anniversary. And it was quite the swanky affair.

The fresh Montreal hotspot delivered nothing short of a fabulous evening. On the menu: a never-ending array of beautifully-presented dishes ranging from seasoned oysters, salmon tataki, and our personal favourite, the seafood poutine. Executive Chef Sébastien Giannini was very successful in giving guests a taste of his seafood-based menu of shareable cuisine. And we love sharing, because it means we got to sample multiple exquisite dishes!

Upon entering Ê.A.T, you immediately know that it’s a true ode to Montreal art. From the food, to the walls, to the music, and the staff uniforms, art influences almost all aspects of Ê.A.T. Every month, a different local DJ creates unique soundtracks for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and late-night affairs; employees are dressed by Montreal’s very own Travis Taddeo; and the walls are almost entirely covered in murals, paintings, sculptures, and installations by a variety of artists, including Brazilian artist L7M’s latest work, which was revealed throughout the evening. We couldn’t keep our eyes off of the larger than life signature graffiti bird displayed in the lobby connecting the restaurant to the W Hotel.

We congratulate Ê.A.T. on delivering a dining experience that screams Montreal. Savour meticulously-prepared creations while taking in the beauty of an ever-evolving array of artistic expression.

Attention artists: They still have a few empty canvases left to fill…
