Montreal is presenting its first ever Vegan Festival this September. Mark it down in your calendars: on September 26th to 27th, 2014, the Montreal Vegan Festival is opening its doors at UQAM.

What to expect? There will be a variety of activities made available throughout the two days for vegans, vegetarians, and anyone who is curious or interested in the vegan way of life. The activities include international lecturers, cooking demos, information stands, and discussions. You will definitely find many things to do or see.

Let’s not forget all the delicious vegan treats you will get to try. Restaurants and food providers that will be in attendance are Sophie Sucrée, Rachelle Bery, Lola Rosa, and many more. Arrive with an empty stomach and feast on animal-friendly eats.

On September 26, 2014, the Montreal Vegan Festival begins at 7:00pm with only one event taking place. Book your seat nowfor Dr. Michael Greger (from nutritionfacts.org), who is the opening lecturer of the event. Tickets are $10 and a reduced rate is available of $7 for students or members of HSI and AVM.

On September 27th, 2014, the festival takes place all day from 10:00am to 6:00pm and access to the site, exhibits, culinary demos, and conferences are free.
