We love celebrating first birthday parties, particularly when they are located in a 1920’s bank vault in the Old Port of Montreal. True to its name, La Voûte’s décor continues to exude that of a high-security bank vault with a modern flare. It shares the same building as Crew Collective Café. Down several staircases and through a thick marble corridor you enter a nightclub unlike any in Montreal.
Their first birthday party was themed ‘Year 3000’ and boy did we get to see La Voûte pull out all the stops. The staff and dancers were dressed the part and even rolled around on hover boards while serving their guests. Dancers swung from the ceiling and atop scattered platforms while guests snacked on champagne and oysters. While their futuristic themed birthday took us to another galaxy, they frequently celebrate extravagant themed nights, making it a truly unique clubbing experience.
In their first year of operation, they have made a dent in the nightlife scene as a club that welcomes an older crowd (21+), and doesn’t charge a cover. La Voûte is an upscale nightclub that treats all guests like VIPs — definitely stop by to meet their incredibly warm and friendly staff. La Voûte creates the dance party you don’t want to miss with their impressive line-up of DJs (like Montreal favourites Evangelos and Andrew Pololos), and skilled dancers on platforms throughout the main space.
A Montreal summer is the perfect time to be wowed by this unique night club setting! La Voûte is another addition to the Old Port that brings to life Montreal’s distinct character and charm.
