The history of sneaker shops in Montreal has travelled a rocky road with shops like Goodfoot, KN Urban, and Underworld closing down. With the closing of one sneaker shop however, usually comes the opportunity for another to come into fruition. More recently, Exclucity has been covering us with most of the exclusive sneaker releases. Devout sneakerheads have camped out overnight for the latest releases since they instantly sell out upon opening.
Exclucity started out as a small boutique in the West Island area of Montreal. Since then, they’ve opened up four more locations: one downtown near Griffintown, one in the South Shore at DIX30, one in Laval near Metro Montmorency, and just recently, a location in the heart of Toronto. They’ve become one of the best spots to get fresh new kicks.
Their selection of Nike and Jordan Brand is immensely impressive, while carrying other brands like Adidas, Converse, Reebok, Asics, New Balance, and so on. They also carry lifestyle and street wear clothing like Undefeated, Huf, Staple, Levis, Publish, and Stussy, and their hat wall is something they’re well-known for. Being a premier sneaker shop, they also have to carry some Jason Markk, the leading sneaker cleaning product on the market.
Whether you’re an athlete looking for some basketball shoes, a Habs player (like Max Pacioretty) looking for some training shoes, or a casual sneaker wearer, they’ve got you covered. Again, with four Montreal locations and one in Toronto, they are there for all your sneaker needs.
