Walking into a teahouse can sometimes be overwhelming, however walking into Hestia is anything but. Hestia opened this past June and has been a hit since. The atmosphere is quite welcoming upon arrival, combining the comfort of a cozy café and a teahouse all in one. Tea is starting to become a trend amongst the health conscious and although not many people are familiar with the different types of tea, the menu at Hestia breaks it down for you quite simply. It consists of 6 tea-based drinks including a selection of white tea, black tea and rooibos that are labelled clearly to avoid confusion for any new kid on the block.

The tea at Hestia is steamed and there are 4 different water temperature sets for each. Modifying your beverage is a possibility too: ask for less sugar, soymilk or even almond milk (which is very rare to find in cafes or teahouses). In addition to a carefully thought of choice of teas, they have some tasty snacks on display, delivered fresh daily from Arhoma bakery as well as cupcakes from Le Petit Gâteau.

Don’t forget to sign up to Hestia’s buy 10 and get 1 free special. Best part about signing up for this is the free drink on your birthday! What to try on your first visit? We suggest either the Matcha Latté or the Montreal Fog, which is their take on a London fog but with hazelnut and chocolate. Not a caffeine drinker? Try this season’s apple pie flavour; it’s caffeine free and does not disappoint!
